Massage

Five Branches University offers a wide variety of classes in therapeutic massage and bodywork, bringing together wisdom from modalities based in Eastern and Western Traditions. Some courses may be taken individually, for massage therapists and other healing practitioners wanting to add to their skills, or who require more class hours to re-certify with the CAMTC.

500 Hour Massage and Asian Bodywork Therapist Program

The 500-hour Massage and Asian Bodywork Program, offered at both our San Jose and Santa Cruz campuses, qualifies you to apply with the California Massage Therapy Council (CAMTC) to become a state-Certified Massage Therapist (CMT). Five Branches is a CAMTC-approved school and this program will provide the preparation necessary to confidently take the MBLEx exam, required with certification by CAMTC.

The program is offered part-time, with classes offered in the mornings and on weekends, so that participants can also work, if they choose. The entire 500-hour program can be completed in two trimesters, or about 8 months.
