Scholarships

The majority of our scholarship funds come from private donors and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) affiliated organizations who have a sincere interest in supporting Five Branches students and the growth of the TCM profession. Qualifications for scholarships are based primarily on financial necessity, academic merit and strength of essay. Scholarship awards range from $500-$5000. Please contact the admissions office for a complete listing of scholarships available.

2012 Academic Calendar Year Scholarships

Five Branches Progressive Student Fund

Five Branches University awards three scholarships each semester – per campus- in the amounts of $500, $750 and $1000.00. Awards are granted to students who maintain a GPA of 3.0 or greater. Information on how to apply for these scholarships will be provided to students during Student Orientation and Registration.

Davis Putter Scholarship Fund

The Davis-Putter Scholarship Fund provides grants to students who are actively working for peace and justice. These need-based scholarships are awarded to students completing academic work at the university level while actively participating in the progressive movement on campus and in the community. Mayway Scholarship Program

Mayway is an international family-owned and operated herb distribution company. Through its community outreach program, Mayway offers scholarships to both MTCM and DAOM students. The following scholarships are currently available:

NuHerbs Scholarship Program

The Future of Chinese Medicine awards three scholarships to support the brightest and most passionate TCM students and to further the development of Chinese medicine. These scholarships are available to Five Branches students who maintain a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA.

The Trudy McAllister Fund

The Trudy McAllister Fund was established to promote the advancement of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine by supporting students attending ACAOM accredited or candidate schools in the United States. Scholarships are awarded to students who have completed at least one full academic year of professional training and who show unusual promise in the practice of Acupuncture and Oriental medicine. Awards are also given to students entering the last phase of their clinical training, or who have undertaken post-graduate studies in Oriental Medicine.
