California Campuses

Our sunny California campuses in San Jose and Santa Cruz provide positive and supportive environments for your personal growth and education. Both of our campuses offer the setting and amenities you need to thrive, such as spacious classrooms and small class sizes; an optimal environment for interactive and meaningful teacher-student relationships. If the Five Branches campus is your home away from home, then the student lounge can be your living room where you can relax, mingle and meet with fellow students. As the social hub of our campus, the lounge is fitted with comfortable couches, a kitchen for tea and meals, a wireless connection for internet surfing, and a bulletin board filled with postings for practitioner events, social activities and job opportunities.

Career Development

Chinese medicine is one of the most requested forms of treatment in the growing field of integrative medicine. Expanding public interest in this safe and effective means of healthcare offers you many new and outstanding career options as a student of Traditional Chinese medicine. Our Career Development department will prepare you to meet the needs of our growing profession by providing you with practice management classes and workshops, job placement assistance, and career counseling services.

Medical Centers

Five Branches active medical centers provide clinical education for our students, as well as public healthcare. With 29 treatment rooms, herbal pharmacies containing over 500 medicinal products and expert clinical instruction, our modern facilities are places of learning and community service. Students and their families enjoy discounted prescriptions and services.

Libraries and research

For students working on patient cases or preparing for exams, our libraries are quiet havens for research and study. Our libraries are the information conduits of our campuses with over (5,000) books and journals about TCM and Western medicine, computers with wireless internet, study aid programs, and a helpful staff. Work-study opportunities at the library and in other departments are a great way to earn extra income while staying connected to campus activities.

Student Council

Students who want to be involved in campus life beyond the curriculum may consider joining Student Council, a strong elected panel that meets to discuss academic issues, trends in the profession and student body well being and success. Or, if you are interested in entertainment and having fun you may want to participate in, and perform at the annual Chinese New Year party or other student social activities.
