University Administrative Assistant and Receptionist

Position Description

The University’s San Jose Campus Administrative Assistant and Receptionist sits at the center of the campus, offering a platform to learn about, and assist with, the various student and faculty services of the university:
- assisting the university registrar and director of student and faculty services
- assisting admissions and interacting with new students
- assisting enrolled students
- assisting faculty
- receiving guests in person and on the phone
- managing the office.
We are seeking a candidate who enjoys multi-tasking, and greeting and assisting people in person, on the phone, and via email. You value professionalism, excellent service, integrity, compassion, teamwork, and have a positive attitude. You have excellent people and computer skills, are accurate and detail-oriented, have excellent communication and writing skills, can perform duties on your own without supervision for periods of time, and have good references. Remuneration
Remuneration is $40,000 to $45,000 proportional to education and experience. Benefits include free Traditional Chinese Medicine healthcare at the University’s clinic.
