Do I pay tuition all at once, or in installments?

The short version: neither is forced on you — Five Branches uses a pay-per-term structure, and within a term you can choose to pay the full balance at once or spread it out. If you're weighing this because a lump sum feels daunting, that's a completely reasonable thing to plan around, not a sign you're not ready for this.

How payment works, by structure

ElementHow it works
Billing cycleTrimester system — 3 terms/year (Fall, Spring, Summer)
Pay-in-full optionFull tuition due two weeks prior to the start of the trimester
Installment optionAvailable for a small added fee, split across the term
Annual programs (e.g. DAOM)Full year's tuition due ~2 weeks before the year starts, or split trimester/monthly

This per-term, installment-friendly setup is the enduring structure and doesn't change year to year.

What the numbers look like when we last checked

Two figures worth flagging as checked-but-changeable, from the school's own catalog pages as we saw them in 07/2026 and 08/2026 — treat these as a snapshot, not a quote:

  • DAcHM/MAcHM installment plan (per the 2025-2026 catalog): 50% of tuition due two weeks prior to the start of the semester, with the balance due six weeks into the semester — with a $25 installment payment fee.
  • DAOM program: installment options include 2 payments/term ($25 fee), quarterly ($15/mo), or monthly ($15/mo).
  • For entering students, tuition is due at registration. Registration happens three times a year.

For the exact current tuition rate and installment terms for your specific program, the school's own Tuition & Fees and Financial Aid Forms pages are the live source — a Financial Aid advisor can also build out a sample payment schedule against your own enrollment plan.

What would help most right now — seeing what a term's tuition roughly runs, or how financial aid factors into a payment plan?
