My application feels stuck and I've lost track of where I am — what now?

That feeling — sending things off into what seems like a black hole — is one of the most common and most anxious-making parts of applying anywhere, especially for a graduate program with several moving pieces. It doesn't mean anything has gone wrong; it usually just means the pieces are arriving on different timelines and nobody's told you that yet.

An application to Five Branches has three parts, and it's normal for them to land separately:

PartWhere it goesWho sends it
Online application, fee, SOP, resume, photo, IDOnline application formYou
Supplemental forms (health evaluation, etc.)Documents Uploading ServiceYou
Transcripts & letters of recommendation[email protected] (or mailed)Sent directly by your school/references, not by you

Because that third column arrives from other people's inboxes, it's genuinely common for an applicant to have done everything on their end while a recommender or a registrar's office is still sitting on a letter or transcript — and there's no live tracking portal that shows you all three streams merged together.

The fastest way to get a real, current answer is simply to ask the people holding the file: your campus's Admissions Office can tell you exactly what's arrived and what's still outstanding.

They deal with this exact question constantly, and a quick call or email usually clears it up in minutes rather than leaving you guessing.

Would it help to know which of the three parts you're least sure about?
