Insurance and Rates
The San Jose Health Center offers a 10% discount for seniors and college students.
We accept cash, checks, and credit cards for payment. We accept Private Insurance (PPO Plan), Worker’s Compensation, and Personal Injury Insurance. You may use your health care flexible spending account (FSA) or health savings account (HSA) for acupuncture treatments. We provide statements for FSA and HSA reimbursement upon request.
Please request Insurance Verification paperwork from the clinic staff in advance of your appointment. Insurance rates include a $10.00 insurance processing fee for each individual visit billed. You may also choose to bill your own insurance – the front desk can provide a statement.
Medi-Cal is accepted for intern appointments (herbs not included) and we provide the necessary documentation for patients to receive reimbursement from their insurance companies. We accept Medi-Cal through the Central Coast Alliance for Health for Intern appointments.

*Massage, Facial, and Weight Management Acupuncture are rarely covered by insurance. If you wish to have us bill your insurance for these modalities, please have this specifically cleared by your insurance company in advance.
Cancellation Policy
We highly recommend you make your cancellation by phone. No fee will be charged if 24 hours notice is given, otherwise you will be charged a $20 fee.
