Adriana is a licensed clinical social worker originally from Guadalajara, Mexico. Adriana has been working in a hospice setting for 10 years. Adriana has experience supporting terminally ill people and their families receiving end of life care. Being bilingual and bicultural, Adriana is able to relate to the bicultural reality when approaching end of life and the complexity of human emotions, intertwined with cultural and social aspects that impact perception at the end of life. She is currently the regional bereavement manager for Silverado Hospice San Diego and Coastal Valleys. The program supports the families who have lost a loved one in hospice or in the community and facilitates grief support groups. She additionally sees clients in private practice as a therapist.

As an End of Life Coach, Rhonda is passionate in holding and creating sacred space, personal ritual, spiritual practice and creative choices through dying and deathcare. She believes we can learn to die and in learning to die we actually awaken to life itself. In serving the dying and grieving, Rhonda favors conversations in the art of saying good-bye, exploring what death asks of us and deserves, how to prepare oneself consciously for the dying process, the compassionate merits of home family-directed home funerals, green burial awareness, and the welcoming and witnessing of grief.

I am also a hospice-trained grief facilitator for both adults and children. I work closely with nonprofit organizations and companies to provide group support sessions, workshops, and one-on-one services.

Josh has been dedicated to Chinese studies for nearly thirty years. He received a B.A. in Chinese Studies from Bard College with a focus on Daoist traditions, including studying at Yunnan University in Kunming, China. His Master’s Degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine is from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. He has also completed training at Memorial Sloane-Kettering in acupuncture for the treatment of cancer patients.

I'm Lisa Howe. I am a Certified Peaceful Parenting Coach and received my Master of Social Work (MSW) from San Diego State University. I’ve spent the last 27 years working with children and families to help them be the best they can be. After I became a parent to my delightfully brilliant and hilarious 10-year-old, I decided I wanted to dig deeper into the kind of parent I wanted to be. I discovered peaceful parenting when my daughter was a newborn and read every book on the topic that I could find. My passion led me to be one of only fifteen clinicians chosen worldwide and privately trained by Dr. Laura Markham to become a Certified Peaceful Parenting Coach in 2016.

Dr. Jamie Boyd is a free-spirited mother of two radiant kiddos and the owner of Whole Family Wellness Center. She has been in clinical practice and family medicine since 2006. She earned her MSTOM in 2006 and her DAOM in 2021. Jamie has an unending curiosity about medicine and a deep love of Classical Chinese Medicine. In her practice, she rests in both worlds and calls upon the wisdom of both systems to inspire fresh perspectives and treatments for her patients. She deeply respects allopathic diagnostic technology and Classical Chinese Medicine’s logic and 3000-year-old treatment strategies. She integrates both to help support the healing process using acupuncture and traditional herbal medicine. She treats all ages from 1 day old to 110 years old. From 2002-2008, she was a homebirth Midwife Assistant for a busy midwifery practice and has attended over 50 homebirths. She spent a fall semester in 2019 as a Wellness Coordinator and Western Medical Assistant for Carlton College Buddhist Studies Program in Bodhi Gaya, India. In her limited free time, Jamie loves to hang out with her kiddos (when they let her), read at least 3 books at a time, go for long run/ walks, dance and generally wander around Nepal, India and America as often as possible.

Lobsang Tsering is a former Tibetan Buddhist monk and a practitioner of Tibetan and Chinese Medicine. He received a DAOM from Five Branches University and studied Tibetan Medicine at Sorig Khang International. He also earned a Geshe Ngakrampa degree from Gyudmed Monastery in India. Currently, he works at Kunde Wellness Center in Daly City and serves as a Buddhist Chaplain at Santa Clara County Jail. He teaches courses on 'Art as Healing' at San Francisco State University and frequently travels to teach Tibetan Medicine and Buddhism to the public.
