Clinic Overview
The DTCM Bridge Program features a carefully designed, 315 hour clinical experience over the course of its three terms.  It has been created with students in mind who have full-time, working schedules as clinicians in the field of Chinese medicine and requires minimal time and effort spent outside of practice.  The clinical component of the program is part and parcel of the online learning environment and includes assignments that require you to delve deeper into integrative diagnostic reasoning skills with patients in your own practice.  Additionally there are pre-recorded patient/practitioner interactions that serve as an Integrative Online Theatre, where students complete assignments based on case presentations presented by faculty.  The focus of the clinical portion of the program is consistent with the rest of the program, in that it emphasizes a need for strong roots in TCM practice as the basis for outstanding and effective integrative medical skills.  At Five Branches we are proud to say that we hold the development of knowledge and skills in TCM as primary to the evolution and continued success of Chinese medicine.
